2019Best holiday ever
Our Viking Homelands cruise remains our favourite holiday ever. So many fascinating destinations and yet it never felt rushed and we never had to unpack. We were thoroughly spoiled from the moment we reached the dock to the time we reluctantly left the ship. The staff, the room, the food, the wine, the views, all were stunning. Thank you, Viking! We will be back.

2022I love Viking
My daughter and I enjoyed our Viking Homeland Cruise so much that we decided to go back again and see more of Norway's gorgeous Fjords, then sail on to Iceland. We enjoyed the cities along the Baltic Sea, up to St. Petersburg, seeing the Kirov ballet there, touring the Faberge Museum and the Hermitage. A highlight was taking a cooking class together a day that we were at sea and hope to do so again this year. We're looking forward to the Faroe Islands, then the waterfalls and geysers of Iceland, and especially the Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik. Can't wait! The ship has every amenity, and has paid attention to every detail. I love Viking cruises!

2019You won't be disappointed
This was our first Viking cruise, and everything exceeded our expectations. In fact, we have already signed up for two additional Viking cruises. The accommodations were perfect. We had the 338 sq. ft suite, which was spacious and efficiently laid out. The food was very good. Both specialty restaurants provide a unique dining experience. The staff was truly exceptional; friendly, warm, efficient and thorough. The ports of call were excellent. The Norwegian coast is absolutely breathtaking. We are completely sold on Viking ocean cruises and plan to take at least one ocean cruise with Viking each year for the foreseeable future. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely fabulous. We observed inspiring sights and breathtaking panoramas… The best cruise we have encountered… Full of beauty, major attractions, historical and cultural wonders, along with an array of dining experiences... I cannot overlook complimenting Viking in their embark/disembark process, the fabulous welcoming party, the willingness of every staff member to ensure our cruise was going well, but most of all I’d like to take my hat off to the head of food services, and our waiter and assistant waiter at Manfredi’s Italian Restaurant. They were phenomenal! I must say without reservation, Manfredi’s (we ate there often) was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten.

Our first Viking cruise but definitely not our last. We have already booked two more cruises for April 2019 and January 2020. We had a phenomenal time. Everything was so well organized and seamless. The staff was so friendly and helpful, anticipating every need. We cannot wait for April. We also met so many great guests. In fact our 2020 trip is with a couple from Tampa we met. Entertainment and talks were unsurpassed.

2018The perfect trip
We went on the Viking Homelands cruise from May 29 to June 12, from Stockholm to Bergen, and couldn’t have been more pleased... beautiful ship. The accommodations were very comfortable, the food was delicious (in all the restaurants), the entertainment was excellent, and most of all, the entire staff was very friendly and professional. The cruise director was outstanding and set the tone for the trip. Viking always does a wonderful job, but best of all was the itinerary—we stopped at all the major ports in the Baltic and then went on to the majestic fjords. All in all, the perfect trip.

Loved seeing the staff parade! The welcome reception in Alborg and the champagne reception back from Berlin were unexpected and a great treat - perfect touch! Also, canapes in our room - over the top!
